How to register for the FORUM

    You can filter the signals that travel from one application to another.
    You can experiment and teaching demonstrations on FIR filters applied to real data.

    With the new Theremino Buttons even if you know programming can create simple but effective control panels.

    You can use the “Buttons” with the mouse or with the “Touch Screen”.
    You can specify the size and colors.
    You can specify a value to be written into a Slot.
    You can specify the variation speed (slow movements or fades).
    You can specify a particular behaviours with special commands “Random” and “Pulse” (and with others that we will implement in the future).
    You can specify invisible buttons (or more properly “Active slot”) that act even without pressing a button. To activate them using a second Slot called “Trigger”.

    The new application Theremino EKG is designed specifically to highlight the frequency variations and arrhythmias. This is the ideal system for frequent checks, better than any ECG. We don't want alcohol, long strands, electrodes and conductive cream but just an optical sensor and within seconds you are already recording.

    We are preparing the Net-HAL and the Net-Modules that are an extension of the system via WiFi, local network and the Internet. In other words IOT (Internet Of Things), but a IOT to thereminica, that is simple and effective. For this section we have to thank a great expert, He has acquired professional knowledge about networks for decades and now shares them with all of us, in the pure spirit of the exchange of ideas and free software.     We are also studying the possibility of using an Arduino in place of Master. This can be useful in cases where you must program protocols, such as I2C, to read sensors that the Master cannot read.

    The world thereminico can communicate not only with Arduino and Processing, But even with Octave (the poor cousin and free of MatLab), with Python and other SW still: just need load their serial plugins. Think about what you can do by managing the OpenCV computer vision functions via Python/Numpy and dialoguing with the slots Theremino-HAL and Master/Slave modules: facial recognition, mechanical/optical tracking, real-time image processing and other graphics of the highest level within the reach of (almost) all.
